TRS Coral is an adults only section of a huge 1139 room family resort complex, while Secrets Playa Mujeres is a 424 room stand alone adults only resort. Secrets is 2 or 3 steps above TRS. If your used to Secrets, El Dorado and Sandals, you will probably disappointed with TRS. We have been to El Dorado Seaside Suites 7 times.

We don't go to Secrets Cap Cana till next year so I can't really help with comparisons but we have stayed at Secrets Playa Mujeres & I have to say although we had an enjoyable holiday we weren't exactly blown away. In my opinion to justify paying for Preferred there should be a seperate Preferred pool which there isn't at SMP.
