cliff collins. Apply a paint material to the two walls, best method is to add it as a new "layer", give it a minimum thickness, such as 1/16"--in Wall Properties>Edit Structure. Then create a Material Takeoff Schedule, and filter it to include only the paint material. Another way is to create Parts, and then Schedule Parts for your QTO.revit 16, imperial lib and templates. My intent would be to have a column heading of RFI, SI, DCVR, or Dr. Checks, and I would like to enter the specific number to one of these catagories that is driving a Revision or Supplimental Information. Mainly an inner office hidden column that we can use to keep track of revisions.
Idealy IMO Struct would own the structural portion of the wall and Arch would own the finishes. Structural will use Floors for everything (floors can have cut profiles), Arch Roof sits on top of the Struct Floor. Same for floors. So with Structural being in a different office, walls that are considered structural are modeled separate from furring and finish walls, thus no need to copy monitor.We always override them manually rounding them off by substraction. To override a dimension you just double click the number of the dimension line. It won't let you write numbers but we add a "." before and after making 3.899 m into . 3.9 m .
