The purpose of the helicopter event is to lure millions of zombies to your area, thus adding more challenges and difficulty to the gameplay.

Helicopter triggers randomly between 1 and 4 times, in 40 minute intervals. Zombies will remain moving for a while, per sandbox settings. So let's say you wait 2 hours.
