Pierce LBGs tend to be a bit better as you get later into master rank. Malzeno LBG, Shagaru LBG, Narga and now Lucent LBG are all really strong Pierce LBGs. There's not rly that many good endgame spread LBGs. And with Spread being a riskier ammo type, especially with the gunner defense modifier in master rank, that further compounds the issue.

Try to use pieces that give critical eye like the Risen Teostra pieces. Risen Kushala pieces give Spare Shot and Attack.
