I was told to make night owl LBG rapid fire and have no clue what that means. I googled it and it said it was a ramp up but the only ramp ups are attack affinity and master rider. Pretty sure the only LBG with a rapid fire rampage skills is the rampage LBG which isn't the best. rampage LBG are great elemental guns.
Heya, so I have these two talismans and can't decide which one would be better to use with my Narga LBG. My current skillset is. Pierce Up + 2. Weakness Exploit + 3. Crit Boost + 2. Attack Up + 4. Reload + 3. Recoil down + 1. LBG Switch Skills. Hello all, wanted to share my observations on the switch skills for the Light Bowgun. Lemme know how you guys feel about them. My tests aren't overly extensive nor perfected, so with that, here's my takes: The first two alternates, elemental reload and the quick evade, are kinda meh imo.MH Rise I'm trying to incorporate more Wyvernblasts into my lbg play because I love the idea of setting mines on the monster for the team to deal extra damage. Best DPS option, great vs any monster with long hitzones or decent secondary hitzones on your firing line through the body. Spare Shot 3 is mandatory to hve enough ammo to finish hunts and ammo up 2 is nice to increase dps by prolonging clips before reload. Go straight into raw and element increasing skills.The dog lbg you make with buddy tickets is a fantastic status lbg. Rapid fires all level 1 status shots and has single shot reload for all level 2 status shots. And can shoot sticky 1 and 2 for kos. Has slicing too but not rapid fire. Level 2 status shots are expensive as hell to make tho. Takes a catalyst to craft each bullet.

Both have 95% affinity on weak spots and over Crit with latent power. The Attack 7 is giving 3 lv2 sockets in the armor and 3 lv1. The Attack 4 and Crit Boost 3 is giving 2 lv2 sockets and 5 lv1 so is better for slotting in things like speed sharpening ect. Conclusion Attack 4 Crit Boost 3 seems a bit better.
In base Rise arguably the best non-elemental LBG is Narga Pierce 2. It gets better with upgrades, including moving reload and then it gets worse (in Sunbreak) when the final upgrade takes away moving reload.
