Four things that made a big difference to me: black ops aim assist (could be placebo) I slightly increased my deadzone (I know, hear me out) for the right stick. Rationale is this is a longer ttk game with faster movement so I want to do more left stick/strafing aim adjustment and mostly leave the right stick for bigger sweeping camera movements.

Ownagemunky. • 1 yr. ago. in my experience black ops is stickier so if you hit your initial shot it's extremely good at helping you track, while default is less sticky so it's easier to adjust follow up shots but it doesn't hold you on them quite as hard. I know I’ll get downvoted by salty PC nerds but here are the settings for getting the strongest aim assist possible: 5-7 sensitivity Standard or dynamic aiming curve FOV no higher than 100 (100-103 seems to be the sweet spot) Black Ops aim assist (the reason this one is better is because it adds rotational aim assist)
