May 23, 2020 · Lol. All I ever do is change the oil every winter before I have to take the deck off and install the snow blade. Great engine except for the float pin issue in those carburetors. Use the gas cutoff valve. B&S makes a cheap plastic one. That's what I got and it's 17 years old. Bought my Craftsman LT2000 in 2004.

If all is sound with the linkage then the internal works of the gearbox are in question .
