Toyota rav4 not starting no crank.
My 2017 Toyota Rav4 won't crank, start, or make any noise. I've tried jumping, replacing with a good battery, and even used my OBDII to check the voltage. Still won't do anything. I checked every fuse under the hood, moved around relays to check if one was bad, and jiggled the shifter and moved the neutral to check the safety switch. Still nothing.

TL;DR: I have a 2008 Toyota Sequoia 5.7L with a fully charged battery that has a no crank no start condition. When turning the ignition, the starter make a single loud click. Same thing happens when using a jumper wire to bypass the starter relay. This is my primary concern. I am also getting 9 trouble codes.

I got everything put back together, hopped into the car, turned the key, and it wont't start. We replaced the battery just over two years ago, so this wasn ...The battery is good, the starter is good. The body of the starter is grounded. There is 12v at the starter at the constant hot terminal. When the key is turned to start there is 12v to the smaller hot connection that goes on the solenoid. There is no sound from the starter at all. The engine is not seized.

Jan 3, 2023 · Recently, lifting and lowering the pump allowed the engine to run. To me these symptoms point to rust in the fuel tank being a leading candidate for the cause of the problem here. The rust may have fouled your new fuel pump and/or regulator as well. There's another fuel filter in the tank that should probably be replaced.
