Although the videos are a bit superficial / oversimplified and incomplete at times, for the most part they can provide you with a quick and accurate overview of common conditions and their diagnostics and management. You can look up what organ systems make up the highest percentage of the IM shelf, and allocate your study time accordingly! Doing a whole deck when 80% of the cards are stuff you already know is a waste of time. Most important thing is getting a UW schedule together. Try to divide up the questions so you make a first pass through all questions a week or so before your shelf. As you go over incorrects, go through Zanki or AnKing and unsuspend cards on the concepts ... I think 85-90% (raw) of the exam is preppable, but the last 10-15% is random ass nonsense within crit care, neph, GI, or card medicine that is extremely hard to get right.
