There is a string humming noise that was coming from the back of my 2018 crosstrek and the car had been off for about 5 hours. It was temporary, but I'm wondering what that sound was. It maybe the “fuel evaporation leakage system”. It cuts on 5-10 hrs after being turned off and is normal. More info on page 9 of the owners manual.
