Ruger security 9 slide stuck.

Devil in the shade. Take the gun and Pull back the slide and start drying firing it. Then Push the slide forward while dry firing it a number of times. This should work. Also do the same procedure with a mag in. Keep trying this and it should release. This is a common issue.
