After exiting the cave system and arriving in HRV I immediately surveyed where I stood and got the "To Cave System" for HRV. Neither of these added to my "Surveyed Locations" in the Journal. Walk from Milton House (Grey Mother's home) towards the farm. When you are at the wooden bridge above the river, descend and go left. Keep following the river until you hear crows. The key will be on a corpse, to the left side a little off of the bank. Just look for crows.
