If you're level 30 and you'd do level 30 zone, you'd get 100 XP per mob. If you'd kill a level 40 mobs, you'd get 120 XP, cause mobs drop more XP. If you'd kill a level 50 mobs, you'd still get 120 XP, even though the mob drops 200 XP.
