I know coming to planets earlier or later has some minor impacts, IIRC if you go to Kiava Gamma later it's fairly empty and Heinrix comments on that, (that's how it was in the beta but I stopped playing right after walking in the door) I did Janus first on my current playthrough so I could get something very precious and on my beta playthrough I did Dargonus first.
