Closest to a good pet build would be red fang gamma burst flak. Use gamma burst to make self and pet immortal and trigger several anoints. Pet goes and tank agro away from you so you can chill n shoot things with those metal sticks that go pew pew. Also ive seen quite a few people trow raks at enemies.
