Last month I decided to upgrade my old police trade-in Rem 870 Police Magnum for a semi-auto shotgun. I narrowed my choices to either the Mossberg 940 Pro Tactical or the Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol. Both are excellent shotguns with similar features, gas operated, outstanding dependability, great ergonomics, and similar prices.
