I found that with the new changes to scanning to identify rocks (and salvage) via RS signal, you can adjust your “ping” or scanning angle in scanning mode to achieve the same results as the pinging strategies used in mining during 3.17.X. Tl:dr, use scanning mode for your pinging and angle adjustments needs. DEM1GOD7.
