It's also less than perfect in the corners at 24mm. I tend to bring my 85/1.8 along for situations that need more wide open sharpness and better bokeh, and my 16-35 to cover the weakness at 24mm. Focus is swift and sure and it makes for a nicer travel/walkaround lens vs the 24-70. But it's a 5:1 zoom vs a 3:1 zoom so there will be some optical compromises. I still like my 24-70E F mount and trying to decide if I should keep it, replace it with the S Version, or just accept the slight optical limitations and 1 stop slower 24-120.Nikon generally names all their apps "Capture NX-something".
