After the first 500 rounds, the Kimber Pro Carry II failed once in the next 1500 rounds. Based on my 1911 scoring system, the Kimber receives a score of 90/100, good enough for a A-. One of the better features about the Pro Carry II is its accuracy, which comes thanks to the bushingless cone-style barrel, commonly called a bull barrel.
At the Kimber store the only recoil spring they sold for the Pro Carry II was 20lb. Gave Kimber Customer Service a call and it turns out the 22lb is a mis print in the booklet. They said the correct one is the 20 lb spring.
