About 5 months ago (November) I started hearing this knocking noise coming from the rear driver side area, sounded like something was loose, def metal on metal. I would only hear it when hitting mild bumps but the noise was definitely there. It being winter here in New England I very much dislike laying down or working on my car in the cold.

Replacing them helped, but still clunking. 2) While doing a visual inspection, I found the harmonic damper was rattling. It only exists on manual trans models.
