Hawk Helium Stick Mods. Thought I'd share the modifications I made to my climbing sticks. Having to deal with metal to metal noises I put 2 coats of Hercules bed liner (Lowes) then painted. The bed liner ruberized the pieces. After painting with primer gray I used the sponge method to finalize the color scheme.

Luckily or unluckily, I still have a tag to use so I’ll be hunting with the Hawk Helium HSP tonight for its maiden voyage. Couple of things to note after install, it’s a little wobbly on top of the helium 30’ stick. The slide pins that come with should be replaced with longer screws.
