What I did to combat the difference in carburetor inlet size vs. air intake pipe from the air cleaner was I used the original diameter hose from the H carburetor, and used that as a spacer sleeve on the intake pipe. I then used the larger Super H/M carburetor to pipe hose over that, and it works just fine with two clamps.
