Thane is like the best pvp hero and really amazing in pve. Talene and brutus are used pretty much everywhere. And ezizh is probably the worst one but still has some niche uses. Thane is undoubtedly the weakest awakened hero for campaign, he is not useful at 220+ level deficits. He is amazing for LB tower though.
