Came back home and then switched on the AC and pop goes the fuse. So I pulled the IAC connector off and restarted the engine. The RPM's pulsed from low to high within a 300 rpm range then settle back to 700 when the plug was connected. I decided to put the old IAC back on and the fuse stays good every time the AC is turned on.

2004 Accord AC wont turn on. The air conditioning system in my car won't turn on. I pulled the compressor clutch relay and verified that the relay works. There is voltage to the relay socket. If I use a wire to short the contact terminals in the relay socket, the compressor engages and cold air comes out of the vents.
