Trying to determine to continue to use this Holley Carb currently on my 1966 K-code or to rebuild by original Autolite 4100 C40F AL for use. Holley Carb info. Here are several different numbers I pulled off of it: casted with 6R 3760 B on the top. Stamped with "LIST-4776-1 2455".My AAR original carbs were dated 992 and 993 1969, Sep, 2nd and 3rd week. If you don't believe me than call Holley and they and straighten it out. All Holley carbs regardless of Mopar, Ford, GM, aftermarket used 3 digit date codes from the 50's till 72 then they went to 4 digit.This whole search started when I tried to identify a Holley 2300 2V carb sporting a LIST - 8641. I can tell by some of it's features that it was an OEM carb on something, just trying to positively identify it. It's got a 1342 date code so I'm guessing it's the 134th day of 1962 or 1972. As for reading date codes on Holley carbs, there are 3 digit dates and 4 digit dates. The 3 digit dates lasted until about 1973. The first digit is the year. 6 = 1966, 0 = 1970. The second digit is the month. 2 = February, 9 = September, 0 (for 10) = October.
