47 posts · Joined 2012. #1 · Sep 21, 2014 (Edited) It's been a couple of years since I used 4-low in my 2007 Tundra. I've used 4-high a few times. Today, I needed 4-low. I was in 4-high. It was working fine. When I turned the switch to 4 low while in neutral, the light on the dash just blinked rapidly. It wouldn't switch to 4 low.

Then you can stop put the truck in neutral and then puch the 4LO button. The truck will not go into 4LO without first being in 4HI. The Traction Control Light, Check Engine Light, and VSC Light (Flashing) came on this weekend. Took it to the dealership this morning and the diagnostic showed that the secondary air intake pump was bad and had water in it. I get in it this morning and notice the dash is all lit up. The "VSC Off" light blinking, "4LO" light blinking, "Check Engine" light is on and the Slip Indicator light is on ... The VSC OFF was flashing along with 4LO. The check engine light was on as well. I have not used 4H or 4L in months. I drove it a few miles and it feels like the vehicle is indeed in 4LO. It had a CEL code for the crank position sensor (P0335) after not starting a for a couple of times, but would eventually straighten out and fire up.That ECU issue would make sense because the 4LO button doesn't even feel like a button anymore.
