In initial brightness, I believe the edge goes to the Seiko. But after 7 hours of sleep (or thereabouts), the Citizen appears to me to retain more luminosity. Easily readable in the early morning hours. Whether it’s the black-dialed SRPE35K1 on a stainless steel bracelet or the white-dialed SRPE37K1 on a silicone strap, the same robust specs exist.
