Kawasaki prairie 360 carburetor adjustment.

Took my prairie 360 to a shop with carb issue and they asked if a cheap carb would be ok as a replacement and I said yes. It ran ok for a month but then it wouldn't I tried cleaning it and adjusting but nothing. Ordered this carb and put it on and it's been great running like brand new. This 360 4x4 has me stumped. The history of it: I picked it up from a relative who bought it new in '03 and ran about two tanks of gas through it, if that. It's sat in a heated, air-conditioned building with fuel in it since '03. I bought it from him.
