Need complete rear axle. The offset for dually ends up being about 3" in. A regular steel wheel works, but further in. The front used two different hub styles. The IFS hub is a spacer style, that can dis-assembled and used. The 2wd, the front hub is a solid cast unit and would need to be changed.

looks to me like the front hub adaptor could be removed and bolt on regular wheel. i've seen several dually's with wider wheels on the front as u would use on a srw. DRW rear axle is 72" from wheel flange to wheel flange. I think I'd sell the dually and buy a single wheeled truck. All duallys (at least since '94) are 1-tons, and the single wheeled would be 3/4 tons. Your 1-ton is worth more than a 3/4-ton. You would save a lot of work, and would be farther ahead in the long run.
The front has to have the entire hub assembly replaced- it isnt just a bolt on extension- that's 2ndGens.
