Is this a good block to use for that and is this block a 429 or 460 block and does it have thick cylinder walls for boring far over. Up for sale is a pair of DOVE-C heads for a ford 429 or 460.They are in decent USED shape and I would recommend rebuilding them but that is up to you. They have light surface rust and some dust and grime on them. The D0VE-C factory iron cylinder heads are the most popular of the 429/460 heads. Contrary to the above post, they are a great factory iron cylinder head...definitely among the best mass produced passenger car cylinder heads of the era.
