Spent a hella long time grinding arcane gems from a keeper hunter, got some okay arc gems and had to give it up. I have a few "perfect" weapons, a few perfect gems; you get lucky sometimes. It's pretty awesome.For a Bloodtinge Purist, you'll probably want the Lost Chikage and gem for Blood Damage. If you're going for Skill/Bloodtinge, however, you may want to stick with the Normal Variant, as regular Physical Damage gems apply to both forms. You don't need the Chalice Dungeon gems to complete the game or DLC. They have sufficient gems to get you through. However, if you are doing an arcane build, then it is worth hitting the Chalice Dungeons because it takes the access to elemental gems in the main game is limited. For radial, you can tediously farm Rom, a pain in the ass, for 19.5% gems with half curse effects, or, you can farm gargoyles, for gems up to 19.3%. I highly recommend going with gargoyles. 8q6pkpqx. This has 2 right outside the lamp on layer 2 with nothing to hassle you.
