At the start of the year I was told the next allocation my dealership received was mine. Then the temporary production halt was announced. Now I'm hearing rumors that the 718 GT4 production cycle is permanently ending, only previously allocated cars are being built and no more allocations will be offered.

718 GT4 for $130k is a steal. Objectively speaking, yes, you should buy it. Ultimately only you could make the decision though. If you were offered a GT4 allocation for sticker, and don’t mind waiting 6mo-1yr+, that’s also an option. 981 GT4s are typically going for around the ~100k mark, so that’s another option.
