Starfield has native ultrawide support and looks good, no elements stretched/misaligned/cut off. They're completely capable of proper ultrawide support and have been since at least 2006. Every game they have released without or with poor ultrawide support, that was a choice on their part, not a lack of ability.

Everything seemed to work perfectly but I do have a 21:9 monitor so I am trying to figure out a fix that will work as well. This method in the YouTube video below worked for me before I completed everything in the Nexus mods tutorial above.

Apparently the variable fDefaultFoV= controls the distance of the power armor UI display. I had it mirroring my main FoVs (1st/3rd person), which was 100. Removing it from my Fallout4.ini caused the HUD to scale properly with this fix.
