I tested about 10 years ago and was surprised to find my paternal haplogroup was E-M4252 (most current taxonomy). Surprised because, I am otherwise super white. Not only my family history (at least the official version), but even my 23andMe report has 99.8% northern European. Only a tiny trace amount of Sub-Saharan African.
