SM claims it was because they sold the worst, but it's more likely they couldn't use the name. Subterra is the only attribute that shares it's name in both the Japanese and English versions of the legacy game. The story feels so mono compared to other shows that have more character development and interaction. Though at the end of the day Bakugan was the result of a capitalist plot to sell more toys to kids, so character archs likely wasn't their priority sadly. Bakugan Battle Planet is a different case for me. I dont like the show that much but I do really like collecting them. The Game Mechanics are a little confusing still but I'll figure it out.
