I adjusted the valves on my 2005 Pilot with 180k last weekend. As far as I know the valves had never been checked. Figured I would share what I found. It's not unusual to get +/-5% but when you get to 10%, it usually means there's something fishy going on. I'm guessing that the air/fuel ratio is still off due to injectors or valves. It started about 6 months ago and did wonder from where it comes so I adjusted the valves; to no avail, the sound is still there. I then thought perhaps it's a broken valve spring, but no they'r all good.
