The reason this whole thing even started is because people complained that there's zero reason to go through the effort and difficulty of grinding adept raid weapons when you can just craft the base weapons and put enhanced perks. In most cases the base weapon is better than the adept ones due to enhanced perks.
Adept you get adept mods and multiple perk options. Crafted you get enhanced perks and your god roll. They run parallel, one isn't meant to be better than the other. Enhanced Perks are only 1% better than the base version, outside of some specific examples like Enhanced Surrounded. It's not that big of a deal.
